2016 Georgetown Fair Queen Sarah Sigmon Saturday at the Georgetown Fair

Saturday at the Georgetown Fair is a day that keeps the queen hopping with events for kids starting with the baby contest first thing in the morning. Miss Georgetown Fair 2016 Sarah Sigmon was also on hand for the longest hair contest and the pedal tractor pull, and the fun really got started when Joe cooked up a plan to get a contest going between Queen Sarah, third runner-up Emily and a few of the former queens who happened to be at the fair. So after Queen Sarah and third runner-up Emily it was Molly Thomann '01, Danielle Turner '13 and Desiree Bainbridge '14. And as luck would have it, our red tractor queen Danielle still had a some black smoke and won our little contest after a couple full pulls. We're just glad Queen Sarah didn't bet her crown, because you can probably tell from the pictures that Queen Sarah was the star of the show Saturday morning. Next year at the fair be sure to stick around to see what happens after all the trophies are handed out at the pedal pull, because with a few of our favorite fair queens a couple clicks of the shutter anything is possible with Josh and Joe Travels!
