Key West Mallory Square, Waterfront Playhouse, Customs House and fun things to do!

Mallory Square has to be one of the most popular places in Key West, and the sunset pier really heats up at dusk with street performers and artist for the nightly sunset celebration.  If you spend anytime in Key West at all you have to watch sunset at least once, but the Mallory Square area is full of things to check out during the day.

Waterfront Playhouse on Mallory Square in Key West is a 150 seat non-profit professional theater where local actors perform hit plays like The Full Monty and Twelve Angry Men.  Florida Monthly Magazine called Waterfront Playhouse in Key West the best professional theater in Florida, so be sure to check it out while visiting the Conch Republic.  Also at Mallory Square is the historic Key West Customs House, and Joe has a great story about the Customs House so be sure to ask him!  And if you have kids, be sure to check out the Key West Aquarium.
