This weekend we head to Springfield, Illinois for the Miss Illinois County Fair Queen Pageant, which is held in connection with the annual Illinois fair convention. This year we are thrilled to be going in support of Miss Georgetown Fair 2013 Danielle Brown who was the winner of the Georgetown Fair Queen Pageant back in August. We had an amazing week photographing Queen Danielle during fair week, and we are excited to see her on the state stage.
At the state pageant Queen Danielle will compete on Saturday in preliminary competition, and on Sunday the final portion of the pageant takes place during a banquet dinner. On Saturday afternoon we will get to see Queen Danielle compete in speech, evening gown and swimsuit. Interview is done in private with the panel of judges prior to the Saturday prelims, and we know Queen Danielle is eager to talk to the panel about her experiences with Illinois agriculture and growing up on a farm. We can tell you that Queen Danielle is passionate about helping people understand the role of agriculture in the daily lives, and we have great memories of her radio spots at the fair.
